DESCRIPTION:In our new FPV format\, we are going to dedicate the second Sunday of each month as an FPV Field Day at Poplar Ford Field. Fixed wing line of sight RC activities are still permitted\, but need to give way for FPV fixed wing or multi-rotor activities which can include setting up race gates on the runway. \nOn these FPV Field Days\, all NVRC members wishing to fly fixed wing line of sight are welcome to use the Lorton Field – even if you do not have the normal Lorton membership tag on your badge.

DESCRIPTION:Who: Nic Burhans.\n\nWhat: A huge RC\, Free Flight\, Already Made\, ARF\, Kits\, Parts\, Radios\, Engines\, 3-D printers\, Motors\, and Tools (just a quick outline) Garage Sale.\nSeventeen (17) tables (at last count) inside plus some large items placed outside !\n\nWhere: 6061 Captains Walk\, Broad Run\, VA 20137(there will be signs out as you get closer).\n\nWhen: Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday\, 16\, 17\, and 18 July 2021\, from 0800 (8 am) to 2000 (8 pm) each day [There is no reason why you can’t make a visit to this sale while you are out-and-about!].  Mark your calendars NOW!\n\nWhy: Nic’s basement and shop have become overrun with donations to his RC clubs\, estates\, consignments\, and a very over-filled 1000-Year-Box.\n\nHow Come: {Not in order of precedents.}\n(1) Nic is a collector of good stuff [his mother drove him to school on trash days so I could not bring “good stuff” home].\n(2) Nic has become the collector of stuff donations for the clubs that he belongs to.\n(3) Nic just can’t say no to families of club members who have passed.\n(4) Nic has been to too many swap meets and auctions.\n(5) Nic has picked up a few RC estate sales.\n(6) Nic has agreed to sell some consignments for older members.\n(7) Anne says she wants most of her basement back so she can get projects done!\n\nPlease\, You-All-Come!\n– This is a rain-or-shine mostly indoor event.\n– A restroom will be available.\n– The coffee pot will be on.\n– Chairs will be available to sit and talk.\n– Nic will be very lonely if you don’t come (Anne will be out of town)!\n\nPlease\, pass this on to your RC friends.
