DESCRIPTION:On the 2nd Sunday of each month\, NVRC will be hosting Multi-GP Drone Qualifier Races from 9:00 am to 4:00pm. DESCRIPTION:In our new FPV format\, we are going to dedicate the second Sunday of each month as an FPV Field Day at Poplar Ford Field. Fixed wing line of sight RC activities are still permitted\, but need to give way for FPV fixed wing or multi-rotor activities which can include setting up race gates on the runway. \nOn these FPV Field Days\, all NVRC members wishing to fly fixed wing line of sight are welcome to use the Lorton Field – even if you do not have the normal Lorton membership tag on your badge.

We can fix that! \nCome join us for a few hours of focus on helping members finish their qualification process. Any two qualified member or one club instructor can sign off on a pilot’s qualification status and we’ll be focused on doing that for as many people as we can during the New Pilot Qualification Day. \nNote\, this is not a flight training event – our instructors won’t be focused on buddy boxing and new pilot instruction.
