DESCRIPTION:In our new FPV format\, we are going to dedicate the second Sunday of each month as an FPV Field Day at Poplar Ford Field. Fixed wing line of sight RC activities are still permitted\, but need to give way for FPV fixed wing or multi-rotor activities which can include setting up race gates on the runway. \nOn these FPV Field Days\, all NVRC members wishing to fly fixed wing line of sight are welcome to use the Lorton Field – even if you do not have the normal Lorton membership tag on your badge.

DESCRIPTION:Can you believe NVRC (and Bob Burnett) has been holding an annual Biplane Contest since the 70’s!  Come join in an amazing fun tradition – all biplanes welcome! \nThis event usually entails basic acrobatics\, spot landings\, taxi races\, and more!  Bob Burnett will be CD\, so you know it’s going to be good! This year we will have this event at our Poplar Ford Quinn Field. \nPilot Registration is at 9:00 AM. Flying starts at 10:00 AM. \nOpen to all members and AMA card holders. No Landing Fee.
